Open Communication
The Alliance is a member-driven organization whose mission includes informing all members as well as the public about K-12 education in general and about charter schools in particular. Another vital aspect of the Alliance mission is to communicate ideas and innovations in education throughout the K-12 community as well as to assist schools in the performance of their own missions wherever possible. Regulatory issues, pedagogical practices, supply and procurement methods, compliance with statutory requirements, and guidance in governance matters are a few of the areas that impact our members and that we seek to address.
In furtherance of these mission objectives, the Board of Directors has instituted a new policy effective January 16, 2012 of posting pertinent corporate documents of the Alliance on this web site. These documents will include by-laws, approved minutes of board meetings, and other items that may be of interest to the members. In addition to the minutes of all future meetings, the minutes of the past meetings are to be posted as well.
